WESTMINSTER handblock

A delicate handblock design with bunches of roses, harebells and delphiniums on a lace-edged ground, between columns wound with ribbons and daisies. The current set of thirteen blocks dates from 1915. The original design was a French copper plate, redrawn in the early 20th century when additional flowers were incorporated a happy improvement that has only added to its charm.
