Our Collections
The Jean Monro collection has been drawn from one of the most significant private archives of historic textile design in England. It is not a collection built to a commercial formula. It is a collection that has grown organically, guided always by the same principle: if a design is worthy of the archive, it is worthy of the collection.
Today, the collection encompasses approximately 200 fabrics, 150 wallpapers, and a newly launched range of rugs and carpets, with new introductions added each season, drawn from the archive, from ongoing research, and from a small number of carefully chosen creative collaborations.
The Jean Monro Collection
The core collection. Chintzes, stripes, and hand-block prints, rooted in 18th, 19th and early 20th century English and European originals. Among the most loved designs are Polyanthus, Lucy's Roses, Hollyhock, Camilla, and Amherst.
