Taken from a very finely drawn original of 1841, Camilla depicts ranunculus with a precision and delicacy that has never been surpassed. Every effort has been made to preserve the finesse of the original sketch and to respect its colouring. The starred background was added to replicate the piqué ground used the last time this design was printed, lending it an additional layer of historical authenticity.
