A faithful copy of a handblock print last produced in 1979, Autumn Roses is the quintessential English chintz so beloved of the Victorians. Large, softly coloured roses are accompanied by hints of hydrangeas, morning glory and primulas against rich green leaves on a plain tinted ground. It speaks of a particular English confidence in pattern, colour, and the art of decoration.
