AMELIA

A climbing design of roses and plumbago on a stippled and striped background, drawn from an original document by the Alsatian flower painter Tournier, circa 1860. Very little alteration was made to the original, which was acquired from the private collection of a retired antique dealer in Boston. The result is a fabric of rare delicacy and botanical precision.
