WARP PRINTED SILK

We are delighted to be able to launch this beautiful new design - Salisbury - as a warp print on silk. Until recently this very complex technique had been too costly to contemplate. Now however we are able to offer this design from our archive but given the "twist" that warp printing provides. Printed on a heavy, 6 ply silk with its inherent slubs, this gives a gorgeous, impressionistic effect which is hard to see in photographs. Come and see the real thing in our showroom or ask your decorator for a sample.

As the name suggests, we hope that "Essential" will prove just that. A real all-rounder this small scale design is printed on a fine cotton with a soft calendered finish. Ideal for small windows, to complement larger designs and for linings, "Essential" comes in seven pretty shades. Shade cards are available to the trade on request. Cuttings are available for all colourways- just use the form on this site.

Jean Monro Ltd is now selling, exclusively, the wonderful range of English Hand-blocks and screen prints assembled by the late Budd Sugarman under the name of Hazelton House. This collection contains probably the finest hand-blocks still in production and, when added to the existing Jean Monro blocks, means that Jean Monro holds, we believe, the largest range of hand-blocked fabrics in Europe.
